High-performing boards know they hold the keys to this—and that a strong sense of corporate purpose, a well-crafted strategy, strategic leadership, and effective governance mechanisms are foundational, if great outcomes are to be achieved.
Every interaction we have with boards, chairs, shareholders, and other stakeholders and supernumeraries is founded upon this premise.

A client-centred approach
Our engaging approach is both formative and straightforward: We use a variety of tools, techniques and proven frameworks to assess your situation and present insights and recommendations to empower you to govern with great impact. Naturally (for us anyway), we share our knowledge openly.
Every situation is different, so you won't hear us mentioning “best practice” or “cookie-cutter.” Instead, we'll ask questions to comprehend your situation, concerns, challenges and, importantly, your goals and aspirations. Typically, we also ask to see relevant documentation to round out our understanding and check details. As you’d expect, we draw from our own expertise and experiences throughout. While this tends to be an iterative process, our goal is to present evidence-based insights and recommendations to help resolve the situation you asked us to help with. When you are comfortable, we step away: it is not our job to do your job!
This client-centred approach is ideally suited to boards with big dreams; wanting to establish or refine their governance systems and processes; boards trying to deal with significant strategic—or even viability—challenges; boards intent on ensuring their effectiveness as the apex decision-making body; and, most importantly, boards intent on realising the full potential of the enterprise they govern.
Values: our foundation
